An amazing time of transformation.

Nine months, that's all you have. In these nine short months, your body will change more than it ever has before. Nine months to prepare to fall in love for a lifetime. Your body is so strong and accomplishes a lot in a small time frame.

I'm Kara, and I am thrilled that you have chosen me as your maternity photographer. I have personally experienced the miracle of pregnancy and carrying my child. You are creating, growing, and giving life. It is incredible! When we had our first baby, I didn't take many photos or have any professional photos done. I look back at my few sporadic cellphone photos scattered throughout my pregnancy and wish that I had professional photos taken of that special time.

But now I get to do that for other mothers! I will take breathtaking pictures of you, all while you experience these moments to bond and connect with your baby. I know you might be on the fence about booking a session. It might be the last thing on your mind right now with preparing for a big arrival. I get it, I really do. This is a beautiful time in your life that you will want to remember.

The Process

Booking & Info

When booking your session, keep your ideal location in mind. Open fields and beaches should be scheduled near sunset for the best light. Fill out the questionnaire -more detail, the better! I'll email you to fine tune the session. Let me know if you're interested in hair and makeup services for an additional $135 (pending stylist availability). I currently offer a Standard session and an Extended session starting at $220+tax. Contact me for availability.

Guide & Session

I will send you an Information Guide to help you feel more prepared for your session! At our session, think of the images you'd like to see displayed around your home. What is your favorite part about this stage in your life? What do you want to remember the most?

Gallery & Art

Your images will be delivered in an online (password protected) gallery. You will have access to My Store to purchase premium prints and products. I offer a Print Release if you choose to download and print elsewhere. I am not responsible for unsatisfactory products if they are not purchased through my store. Your online gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session, unless otherwise stated. If online galleries are not for you, I also offer your session on USB drive for an additional $80.
